The Place Card Devil works on Microsoft Word and Excel. All you have to do is enter the names of the diners and their menu selections to a simple spreadsheet, and instantly, the programme allows you to print out named place cards for each diner, listing their individual choices. So every diner can see on arrival what they chose, even if the meal was booked weeks ago. And your waiting staff can see at a glance which dish belongs where, without having to interrupt busy conversations.
What’s more, at the press of a button, the Place Card Devil can also produce a summary list of the numbers of each dish chosen, for the kitchen staff. So you know there will be no discrepancy between what the kitchen prepares and what the diners are expecting – helping you avoid costly wastage.
To print the place cards simply open the Place Card template, use the custom toolbar buttons to change the image, open your spreadsheet and print the cards.
